Checks / troubleshooting:
1. Check if Solenoid at media detection area is
operating properly when detecting the media
thickness.
2. Check the connection of Media thickness
detection solenoid relay connector.
3. Check the connection of Media thickness
detection sensor connector.
4. Check the connection of CR_FFC.
5. Media thickness detection sensor may be
malfunctioning.
6. CR_FFC may be malfunction.
7. CR board may be malfunction.
8. MAIN board may be malfunction.

Recommended actions:
If it is malfunctioning, replace Media thickness
detection solenoid.
