Checks / troubleshooting:
6. Check [Encoder: CR] in [Check: Test] –
[Test: Encoder] in self-diagnosis function.
• Move Carriage to see if values on panel
increases/decreases as follows.
• CW direction: Increase
• CCW direction: Decrease
7. Carriage lock solenoid may be damaged.
(Check if [ON] is displayed when Carriage is
locked and [OFF] is displayed when Carriage
is moved in [Sen.: CR Origin] in self-
diagnosis function.)
8. MAIN board may be damaged.

Recommended actions:
When NG:
a) Check cable connection at following places.
• CR board connector
b) Replace following parts.
• CR encoder
• T fence
• CR motor
• CR_FFC
• CR board
